Day 8- 11th March (Movie Day (Y))
The weather’s getting better and better. It isn’t that chilling anymore. Furthermore, my roommates and I made the room so much so that it feels just like home! It felt so good that I slept all the way until 0815, without waking up at all! IS lesson today was supposed to start at 1430! We all thought that we can finally sleep a little later and wake up later. But who knows! There was a last minute change of time table, which means lessons still start at 9 as usual :(
This is their type of big rubbish bin, and it has to be pushed manually by an old lady.
There's an entire row of bicycles park at the stand. I suppose that a large number of students do cycle to school and this amount is definitely more than it is in Singapore! t should be a common type of transport for students to go to school.

It wasn’t that bad after all because Ms Neo made the lesson short and sweet :) We continued with our tedious assignment on GANTT CHART and started on practical which taught us how to link tasks to the resources.
When we were released for our lunch break, it was already 12! Being lazy to go out of school to eat, we decided to rush to the canteen to have our meal thought we know that the food left may be limited. And truly, what’s left was noodles and fried rice! By the time we ordered our food and sit down to eat, the whole canteen was empty, with only me Eline Meowlin Charmaine Fathullah Sihao and Noor left.
When i say it's just us, i really mean just us!
We felt really bad as the stallholders rushed us to eat faster as they have to pack and clean up the place :/ Had our fastest meal ever!!

I saw these when i was on my way to the canteen:
They sell 2nd hand books just like that, by laying them on the ground without any use of table! Totally different from Singapore.
A plate basket of vegetables were found lying along the pathway. I guess it is for the purpose of drying and making it not too moist. These are just placed anywhere they like and are not afraid of them being stolen away, unlike how Singaporeans will think.
The pair of shoes belongs to the owner of all these clothes and blankets on the bushes! He was just sitting there, waiting for his things to be dry. This is not rare as i see many of them doing the same thing :/

As all of us were feeling lethargic, we decided to return to our dorms for a movie marathon with the discs we bought last night! :) The resolution of the show was clear; we had a speaker, which made the ambience totally like in the theatres! We first watched Ninja Assasin. It is a rather violent and gore movie about Ninjas. Next was Friday the 13th. Another gore and horror movie. Both movies are M18, which we are forbidden to watch in Singapore. But we finally managed to catch it here! :D The discs are really cheap, updated and almost everything you want can be found. Each disc is sold for 4RMB, which is only S$0.80 and still can be discounted!

It was already 7 when we finished watching both movies. The local students appeared in our dorms and so they brought us to a shopping center nearby to buy our necessities, again.

The buses available at the bus stop!
It appears that we have so many necessary items to get that wherever we go, we will buy something from the supermarket. This is not a very good thing is it? :/ The name of the shopping center we went is called Shopping Mall in English. The Chinese name for it is 销品茂, which is how you say with a Chinese accent. Interesting! :D Decided to have real Macdonalds’ this time round! They sell the same thing as Singapore does :) After that we headed to Wal Mart, which is a few times bigger than GIANT!
Look at these small watermelons! I think i can finish it by myself ;o
These are honeydew! They look different from the ones we usually see in Singapore don't they? :)
Bought our essentials before taking a cab back here to our hostel!
I then came across this ENORMOUS dog! The picture may not reflect it, but it's really huge in real!

Reflection
I find myself so contradicting. When the weather is cold, I hope that it will be a little warmer. But when it is starting to get hot, I wish that winter will not end! Does everyone feel the same? ;o The linkage of resources and tasks that we’ve learnt is quite useful when I have to assign specific job to specific people. Furthermore, the resource usage function can help me evaluate if any manpower is over tasked and I will then be able to reassign and maneuver their job schedules. I feel that this is very important so as to ensure that the resources’ are not overworked which I believe will result in higher work efficiency. After what happened in the afternoon at the canteen, I can conclude that the students in WUST are trained to eat very fast. Their breaks are usually at 12, but by 1245 the entire canteen is empty already! I suppose parents here do start educating their kids when they are of a very young age. As shown in the picture above with the toddler, she smile upon the parents asking her to 笑一个, which means smile. I believe that she’s not any older than 3 years old but she walks by herself, understands and is not afraid of strangers! If it was in Singapore, I’m sure the parents will be carrying them or pushing them in a pram and definitely will not let strangers take picture with their precious. All in all, I had a good time with my classmates and the local students again today and will continue to have more!
