Today is the best day of the 6 days in Wuhan! We had lessons in the morning, and after that was preparing for the performance we had for the WUST students.
We did a racial harmony costume parade, introduction on how Singapura came about, when Raffles signed the treaty, the war and lastly a NDP dance!
We then had some games between Np and WUST students. Fun and entertaining :) Though it was a last minute thing, i feel that us, MDE put in the most effort and did an excellent job! Our coordination and cooperation was good, despite not having a single rehearsal. Our buddies, the local students were amazed with the item we've put up :) I think we all deserve a pat on our back!
After the event we then had porridge at a stall nearby as it was late already. The amount and types of food left are very limited. So we should have our dinner on time and it is difficult to get filling food at such a late hour. Finished up in a while and it was back to our dorms to wash up and here i am blogging about how much fun i had today! :D
Reflection
Today's the most enjoyable one so far! :) Lessons in the morning was as usual. But i noticed some weird stuff that i'll never see in Singapore.
The people here hang their clothings and even undergarments anywhere they want, anywhere they like. I feel that it is not very nice nor hygienic. Imagine the tourists see them, what kind of impression will they have on Wuhan? But i guess this is the style of living here :) About the performance at night, i think that the coordination MDE have is quite strong as everyone cooperates well and is willing to participate in anything. However, we still shouldn't have the planning done last minute. In future if we have anymore activities like that, i believe we'll do a better job! I feel that such events are good, to improve the relationship and interaction between WUST and Np students. This gives an opportunity for the local students to know more about Singapore and at the same time, we, to know more about them.
