Day 5- 8th March (1st Day of lesson)
The presentation is projected on the wall, not on the screen! I've never seen this befoooooore ;o
It is finally the start of lessons, an introduction and basics of Project Management. The module itself isn't boring but i was really tired this morning that's why i was feeling so restless during the lesson. The lecturer mentioned that today would be the coldest it will get from now on. From my experience, i knew that it was going to snow today and the temperature will start to increase after snowing. And truly, it is snowing now! :D We did not do much today as it was just study and study and study! Learnt Statement of Work (SOW), Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and AON :) All these are totally new to me, so hopefully i can absorb it well! After lessons, the group of us headed to the nearby fast food restaurant to have a quick meal as there's group discussions going on now. The fast food are generally the same but it is a lot cheaper. A set cost only 11RMB, which is about S$2!
Oh, Eline and i was buying a sausage at the stall nearby and we were served by this cute little girl. I think she's younger than my youngest sister who is 10, but is way much mature and independent than her. Her gesture, tone and the way she speak is so different from Singapore kids!

Reflection
As i'm typing this post, it is snowing outside. Have not tried studying in overseas and what's more, in winter!! For us, snow is better than anything else. But i do know that the people here do not like it when it snow as it would be a hindrance to their work and may cause accidents. This is the difference! That was why when we were taking photos in the snow, many people were giving us that look. As mentioned above, about the young girl, i think that the kids here are more independent than the kids in Singapore. Kids in Singapore are all pampered since young unlike the children in foreign countries where they are trained and nurtured, which is goooood! And i am not really looking forward to tomorrow's activity :/
