Day 28- 31st March (Queen Elizabeth)
Today is also another boring day :{ But the good thing was school started late!! As Daryl, our trip member fell sick and had to visit the hospital last night, Ms Neo didn’t had time to complete what had to do. Therefore she informed all of us that lessons start only at 1. We were happy as we could sleep in! :) My morning was spent blogging and doing project, just like any others. We grabbed a bite from the roadside stall and munched on our way to class.

Ms Neo started the lesson by showing us short scenes from the movie Queen Elizabeth so as to add on to whatever she has to teach on leadership.

Queen Elizabeth is one of the best loved monarchs, and one of the most admired rulers of all time. She became a legend in her own lifetime, famed for her remarkable abilities and achievements. She was dedicated to her county in a way few monarchs had been or have since. Queen Elizabeth had the mind of a political genius and nurtured her country through careful leadership by choosing capable men to assist her. She was a determined woman, but was not obstinate. She listened to the advice of those around her, and would change a policy if it was unpopular. In appearance, she was extravagant, in behavior sometimes flippant and frivolous, but her approach to politics was serious, conservative, and cautious.

We had a 3 hour lesson on Communication before we were released! We returned back to our dorms with an assignment on hand, which is to write a one page reflection on the short clip we saw today.

Reflection
I find the show rather meaningful as the scenes we watched illustrated how superior and powerful Queen Elizabeth was as a female leader. I really look up to her for her braveness and leadership. Being inspired by how Queen Elizabeth led her people, i realized that how a project manager controls his employers is the same. The ability to make firm decisions, risk taker, positive mindset, good motivator are some qualities that a leader should possess. After watching this clip, it can be a head start for the 21 of us to achieve qualities of a good leader! ;)
